I have figured out how to submit a podcast to itunes, but I would like to know how one goes about setting it up so that you can charge the 1.99 a lot of people charge. My current podcast with the website above is free and will remain so, but I have an idea for a video podcast series with another website I am working on where it would be more appropriate to charge 1.99 per download of each video instead of relying on ads. Having said that I would be interested in hearing of any info on how one goes about find a site where you can put commercials into your video podcasts just like audio ads are placed in audio podcasts. Just want to hear about it in case I decide to go that route.

Currently, by there very nature, Podcasts are free in iTunes. When people are charging in Itunes, you’ll note that they’re not “Podcasts” but either songs or audio books.

Our Premiumcast.com service (at http://www.premiumcast.com) lets you charge for a Podcast at your site and then provides a feed that iTunes can use - FWIW.
