Thank you for reminding us all what a positive attitude/mindset can do!

Hi Paul,
I've been enjoying a variety of your videos (Stompernet link). I agree with you on this one. Positive or negative - a lot of it revolves around "head space". At the moment, the press is spreading a thick coat of "fear" everywhere.. there's a manipulation feel about it... Might as well work in the opposite direction.
Sometime it would be nice to hear more about the technical end of producing these presentations.
Thanks for you generosity - Louise
I once saw a video of you at a conference talking about the flip video camera (amoung other things) Well I've got one! I have started a blog with video tutorials showing my 'cheating' artist methods, I am wondering if eventually I can give lessons etc. kind of Bob Ross style, exept the materials are much cheaper! (watercolor). They are on youtube, roytheartist and here... http://www.roytheartist.com/
Also I did a complete free course on Blender 3d, which is the open source 3d graphics prog. The demo animation of the character people can eventually make here...

I am going to focus on the '10 minute painting' as I think this would interest a wider audience.
Regards,
Roy.
I can't agree more with the points you are making. People want to hear news, and especially good news. Focusing on the 'good stuff' can potentially draw new consumers to your podcast.
Here in Europe people still havn't adopted New Media and Podcasting on a large scale. Only a few people are making a job out of the New Media. I'm one of those and I think it's our job to show the power of those media to other companies. It will be tough at start, but we'll get there.
I agree with your assessment about all the negative stuff being said in the world today. I say "What we focus on...expands", so if everyone focuses on the bad stuff, then guess what happens? More bad stuff comes out way. The BEST way to get out the financial dump the world is in...is to focus on what we CAN change and focus LESS on what we can't. Pretty simple, but very profound. Napoleon Hill said "Every Adversity brings with it a seed of an equivalent advantage" My wife and I started an Events company one week before the the financial bubble broke. Our first big venture is next year where we are bringing the top Oldies groups to the West Coast of the United States for 7 day Private party cruise on the Carnival Splendor to the Mexican Riviera September 13-20, 2009. This up-close and personal private party for only 400 people is being marketing all over the Internet and Instead of cutting back on advertising, we are expanding by telling people how much fun it will be to dine with the groups every night, etc. We are focusing ALL our energy on EXPANDING our marketing, not shrinking and fearful. Again, I agree 100 percent in your assessment and commend you for your brave nature in telling folks to EXPAND and focus on what they can do...not what they can't do.
To your success..
Brad

Excellent post! This is exactly what I'm doing! I laughed with my assistant the other day because I feel like the "used car salesman of Law of Attraction and Online Marketing" but my list is growing tremendously becuase of using video, I'm having a ball and getting more customers too!
I was a bit embarrassed and shy at first but as my videos progress I'm way more comforatble and super "enthusiastic" (hence the used car salesman feel). I love brightening people's day AND making more money too.
