BlogTheMedia.com – Free Preview Week – Permalink Redirect WordPress Plugin

Part of the Blog The Media program will be about leveraging the best WordPress Plugins to make WordPress do great and amazing things.

One of my favorite plugins is free and is called Permalink Redirect.

What it let’s you do is redirect all of your feed traffic in your Blog to an external feed source (often times Feedburner).

Permalink Redirect now lets you use your Feedburner Yourbrand URL (remember what we said in our 7 Laws piece about owning every piece?) and this video walks you through every step.

If you have an install of WordPress from MyWordPressSecret.com, the plugin is automatically installed. If not, you’ll need to grab it and install it from the link above.

Blog The Media Free Preview Week – About NMIC Tomorrow’s Call

There has been some confusion about tomorrow’s New Media Inner Circle Call – “Best Practices with TubeMogul.com and Other Video Upload Services.”

Let me do what I can do explain here.

We are actually talking about two different products here. A little confusion – and for that I am sorry:

1 – BlogTheMedia.com – My comprehensive business blogging course. This is what I do, how I pay my bills – I do big comprehensive information marketing courses such as this one. We’d love to have you join us. We started this week with our free preview week.

2 – New Media Inner Circle (NMIC) – This has been a long time coming and I’m thrilled to finally have this thing arrive. It is, in short, a program that lets subscribers get EVERYTHING I do/teach/Podcast, etc. over the course of their membership. This includes the free stuff and this includes the paid stuff. So, for example, all New Media Inner Circle customers who remain in the program will get all of the Blog The Media course delivered to them through the NMIC channel (and they’ll get Podcast Secrets when I teach that, etc.).

Tomorrow’s call is for my New Media Inner Circle. It is not directly attached to a specific program or class – it is just the kind of thing I do for my NMIC members.

But, in the spirit of “Free Preview Week” I’ve decided to put a free trial on NMIC as well.

So, in short, if you’d like to get in on the NMIC call, you’ll need to be an NMIC member. It’s free until Monday so it is, truly, risk free.

Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions.

BlogTheMedia.com – Free Preview Week – Get Your Blog Into USAToday.com For Free!

On November 5, USA Today is going to be sponsoring a “Blogger and Podcaster” Directory. This will be for both the online and printed versions of the paper.

It should be of no surprise that I recommend that both Blogger and Podcasters get in there.

In all honestly, the directory won’t do much traffic for most of you but the fact that contextually relevant blogs/podcasts will also be listed within articles on USA Today.com is huge.

Enter with the right keywords (and have a Blog or Podcast about those keywords) and, friends, you should get some very nice traffic.

Let’s kick it up a notch – NO RISK.

First month is on me. After that, I’ve even got them to take 20% off for BlogTheMedia students (including you free Preview Week students).

The link is here – www.GetInsideNow.com. Domain just went live so if you are having problems, this link will work too.

Video below explains how to get your free week in USA Today.

P.s., there is some more very cool stuff coming down the pike of this free preview week for Blog The Media. I really recommend you sign up for the update list by sending a blank email to BlogTheMedia@PaulColligan.com to make sure you don’t miss out on anything.
