Who Else Wants 25 Gig Of Free Cloud Storage?

25 gig free cloud storage is nothing to launch at (remember when we paid hundred for a 25 gig hard drive?) – even when it comes from Microsoft. Here's a quick video that explains how to upgrade today on Microsoft's Cloud storage solution. And, don't worry, the iOS and Mac options are available TODAY.

+Paul Colligan Well, that didn't last very long. The free upgrade button is not there now. Maybe it was just me, and maybe because I'm on a Mac…kidding aside, no link available for the upgrade.

I've heard from others who were able to do it. Anyone else having +Stan Dubin 's problem?

+Paul Colligan Just for the heck of it, I logged out of Windows Live and switched from Chrome to Firefox, logged back in and still no joy on the upgrade. No biggie, 7 gig is a good thing.

I am very happy that Dropbox in the last 24-48 hours allows you now to get a link for any file or folder of yours and make it available as a viewable item or downloadable. I'm done with "SendLargeFiles" and others like it.

Hi Paul, no free upgrade link here in Australia either, though I am not going to sneeze at 7GB, maybe I need to mention the Zune more in podcasts and I might get that upgrade added to my live account too 😉
    Thanks for the great info

No joy for me even with a VPN. I guess with it being a loyalty upgrade it needs to be an account that was already active.

It seems you must have used your sky drive in the past with your account to be given the free upgrade option. I logged into some of my other live accounts and did not get the upgrade option, I had never used the sky drive in them, but my primary account which I HAVE used the sky drive quite a bit had the option for the upgrade. There may be other factors as well, who knows…
