Geeks Ignore - Quick Blogcaster Anyone?
Posted on 2:35 pm by Paul ColliganGeeks, please ignore. All comments about how Wordpress is much better will be deleted … not the point.
Since day 1 I’ve been looking for painstakingly simple Blog/Podcast program - something that I could hand over to my Mom.
Yes, I’d prefer that she use some of the more “powerful” options out there but, … it just ain’t gonna happen yet.
Now we have QuickBlogcaster.com. This is a tool/product/service from within 1PlaceForEverything.com that “does it all” - hosting, recording, RSS, uploading, etc.
It ain’t perfect, by any means, but it looks like something I could hand my Mom.
Thoughts, for the non-geeks?

Paul, try Podcast Maker (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ipod_itunes/podcastmaker.html). A friend of mine uses it who isn’t technical at all. He was releasing podcasts using it before he new what an RSS feed is.

Neal,
Good suggestion but that still requires a knowledge of FTP and Website folders/hierarchies, etc.
I’m looking for something that just an average person who doesn’t have that kind of knowledge can utilize.
