According to MacNN, 700,000 iPhones sold this weekend. And, no, I still have no desire to buy one.
Does this cement Apple’s future? No.
Does this prove that the masses want to pay $600 for a phone? No.
What it does do, and this is important, is it brings nearly a million new potential newbies to our audience. We also know that as the others will do what they can to copy, they too will be bringing us a new audience.
People are going to expect to watch and or listen to something on their fancy new devices.
We need to be ready.
