Microsoft Kills The Portable Media Center – Is Zune The Heir?

I’m sure you read by now that Microsoft has killed their Portable Media Center platform. Not a huge loss.

However it should be obvious to all involved that Microsoft is not giving up portable media.

Is Zune the successor? This could make things very interesting.

But then again, wouldn’t it be funny if I could download Spiderman 3 on my Zune before I could ge the Podcast Brothers?
