As of this point, still no Podcasting for Zune - but we are certainly in “round 2.”

But they got new colors coming and they got rumors of free Zunes with subscription plans. The press speaks of them jumping on the no DRM bandwagon and a new run of Zune advertising campaigns.

I don’t dare call this a second coming - but - it should be obvious that Microsoft is in this one to stay and when they get their Podcasting engine in place (and they will, it’s just a matter of when), this is going to be an important channel for the Podcaster.

Just a thought, but what happens if all purchased content goes DRM free and Microsoft is the only one offering a subscription model?

This could get interesting. I wonder when they’ll finally grab www.zune.com.
