Microsoft Announces More Linux Support

Today, at a special Press Conference, Steve Balmer (and some friends from Novel) announced a “set of agreements” to “enhance interoperability” between Linux and Windows.

The big three issues

  • Microsoft and Novel are coming together for tech solutions to make things better in this space.
  • Microsoft announced an “intellectual property bridge” between open source and proprietary source models.
  • Microsoft and Novel announce a “Business Cooperation Agreement.“  Microsoft and Novel are going to work together in the sales and marketing front for these issues.
