We Still Got Some Edjimucation To Be Doing …

by Paul Colligan on August 18, 2006

This post comes with the understanding, feeling, that the customer is always right.

For many of us, the customer is the Podcaster listener / consumer.

Got a comment over at PodcastTools.com that kinda shook me.

First of all, I got the cool “click to play” feature in the post. I got all the subscriber buttons. I’ve made sure you can find me in iTunes, I’ve done “it all.”

Or so I thought.

The comment …

Is there a download link where I can download the podcast rather than listening to it on site?

I could look at this a zillion different ways but this time, I’m gonna say that I failed my customer.

Sorry Tom, hope my explanation helped. We’ll be working on Direct Download options soon.

I was just looking for a place to click to download some of your pages to listen to on my ipod while driving.
I don't understand much about podcasts, (I really like yours), just learning, but that question was exactly what I was asking myself. Why did it upset you. I subscribed to feeds, (as I understand I will get future podcasts, is that right?)and see your buttons to listen now, but I want to listen to THIS one on my ipod, before I get future feeds.
I'm missing the point, I'm sure, but how did you fail your listeners?
