Paul's MacBook Pro Update – Man I’m Hooked – Mac PIM Anyone?

O.k., I’m so hooked it isn’t even funny. This MacBook Pro is nearly perfect.

Few more questions for the devoted in my audience.

My Microsoft MVP status makes Office 2003 easy to get. Already ordered. I “get” Entourage with it – but is there a better Mac PIM out there? Email? Calendar? I’ve had a .Mac account for over a year now so something that syncs would be nice.

I’ve been playing with Garageband and having some fun with it – but, are there any Mac “real time” Podcast products ala Podshow’s CastBlaster?

I do have Parallels installed, so I can just run it there, but I figure I’d see what we go on this side.

    Hi Paul,

    I have experienced a few issues in reference to stability. However it is usable in its current state. I am hearing there are some latency issues when recording live with a mic due to the lack of compensation parameters, etc. The developer is very accessible and seems to be on top of things.

    I made a few suggestions on their forum. Specifically, the implementation of loudness maximization. It's in the works I'm told. I'll continue to test and and keep you posted.
