Finally, Business Podcasting Bible Call for Case Studies

Finally, the Blog for The Business Podcasting Bible is live. There are a few things that need some color tweaking but the functionality is there. Go ahead and jump on over an subscribe. I’ll be making an occasional reference here on this blog but if you are interested, you’ll want to be on both feeds.

Our first post is a call for Case Studies. All this “theory” ’bout Business Podcasting is nothing without some real word examples of people making it happen.

And, I know, a chunk of my readers are making it happen.

I’ve emailed/spoken with many of you about this and, well, the time is finally here. Follow the directions over at the site for format, etc.

And, please, if you’ve got a story to tell (and believe you me this, this book will get you some attention), let us help you tell it.

    Don’t know if they quite apply, but I think as a Business that Podcasts (and therefore reaches a larger audience) http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk is making it happen. They sell natural garden stuff and their podcast is a riot if you’re into gardening or farming. They seem to have content which is targeted towards promoting their business but in a very subtle way. You’d have to check them out and ask them, but I think they will say that they have see a boost in sales enough to make the cost of the podcast worth the effort.

    Here again, though, isn’t a case of monetizing the podcast per se, but providing people with information which will make them choose the business and spend money in the future.

    As far as I’m concerned, if you sell more product because of a Podcast, that is certainly monetizing a Podcast. If you know them, have them submit it to the book – I’d love to get it in there.
