The Parade

I enjoyed the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade with my 6 year old daughter yesterday something fierce. She really, deeply, enjoyed it and I asked her what any Father would at that point.

“Honey, would you like to go the parade some year?”

“Of course, Daddy, but I’ll have to practice a lot first.”

I saw myself watching the parade. She saw herself in the parade.
